Dr. Neerav Shah brings a wealth of diverse training and experience to his role as a board-certified primary care physician. He completed his undergraduate studies at New York University before earning his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, where he trained in clinical settings throughout the NY/NJ area. Dr. Shah began his postgraduate training with a year in general surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, gaining hands-on expertise in acute surgical care. Recognizing his passion for holistic, long- term patient care, he transitioned to internal medicine, completing his residency at Lincoln Medical Center, an affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College.
This unique blend of surgical and internal medicine training equips Dr. Shah with a comprehensive perspective, enhancing his ability to provide thorough, well-rounded primary care.
Dr. Shah has also served as an academic hospitalist at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY, caring for acutely ill hospitalized patients and teaching medical residents and students. This experience in both acute inpatient and outpatient care enables him to navigate complex medical cases with confidence and deliver seamless, coordinated care across all healthcare settings.

His dual experience in inpatient and outpatient care allows him to approach each patient with a comprehensive understanding of their medical needs, ensuring a smooth continuum of care from the hospital to the primary care setting.
